Unfortunately, there are a many people who are willing to rip off the work of others and claim it as their
own - PastMaster knows this from experience, as in 1999 Blue Chip Internet Ltd. of Leeds, UK, attempted to
PIRATE AND COPYRIGHT THE SMILIES UNLIMITED SITE. Therefore, a page like this is a regrettable necessity...
Put simply, everyone is welcome to use the smilies, but please don't copy this site wholesale! If you really
need the legal bumf, read on...
No claim is made to copyright on the smilies themselves, which have been designed by many people over the
years and are intended to be used and copied by as many people as possible. Take them, use them and enjoy

structure of, and all original textual material included on, the Smilies Unlimited website is also ©
